Usage of AI
As of July 10 2026, this is how I use AI-based (specifically LLM) tooling in my professional settings:
- I do use LLMs for search and research, like Google, and for drafting
- I do work with AI companies and help them with content and documentation
- I do not use LLMs to reply to emails or replace any part in human convos.
- I do not use LLMs for decision making or anything critical
- I do not use LLMs for grammar or editing. I have better tooling for that.
- I do not feed any kind of personally identifiable information (PII) into LLMs
I'm still weighing AI usage. I like, and prefer, to use my brain. But sometimes, a job can be done a magntitude of times faster using LLMs. That, in turn, increases revenue. What I do not like is signing off LLM-generated work. It does not feel mine. Not only that, I'm trying to make daily choices that eventually lead to less brain rot1.
