Hey there. I'm Dejan Lukić, a technical writer and documentation architect based in Europe.

• My tech journey began when I was 5
• Most of my professional career was spent doing backend (with a sprinkle of frontend). That completely coincidentally turned around into a technical writing career
• I use a dumb phone (a Nokia 235) and try to limit my screen time as much as possible
• Privacy-conscious. I prefer tools and services that respect user data, and I try to keep my digital footprint as small as practical
• My active rest is maintaining and fixing cars (diesels mostly)

I really did not know that I like writing that much until I got laid off a few years ago. That was my pivoting point. Could not find a job as a software developer but landed tons of technical content gigs.

Now, I get a heavy dopamine hit when a client praises my content (especially deep, technical pieces).
